Enterprise Mail Synchronization
Typically most Enterprises have distributed email architecture with independent mail servers for each location. In such a setup, employees are tied to accessing their mail only at their respective offices. And it is impossible in such a setup to access mail after/ before office hours or while traveling, which is of prime importance to the top executives of any enterprise. One possible solution is to have all your mail servers located on the Internet, which is neither a feasible nor economical solution. And, if one has to grapple with integrating a setup having mail servers on different platforms, then it becomes much more complex.
BharatPlanet’s Mail Sync is a tool that can enable mailbox synchronization between remote Mail Servers right down to the level of Personal folders. This is possible as the Sync tool does time based synchronization between two exact copies of the mailboxes, one on a central server connected to the Internet through a dedicated link and the other on a remote server with perhaps a discontinuous connection. This tool can work with and integrate mail servers on different platforms such as MS Exchange and Unix Mail servers making it highly versatile.
